Nimi's tallow comes from grass-fed, grass-finished cattle raised on open Montana pasture, from ranching families who raise it that way on purpose. It is formulated and batched in Florida by our own team. No synthetic fragrance, no dyes, no fillers.

Tallow is a traditional, lipid-rich ingredient used for generations to soften and comfort dry-feeling skin. Rich in skin-compatible lipids, it helps replenish moisture, soften rough skin, and support a healthy moisture barrier.

Is beef tallow really going on my skin?
Yes, and it is one of the oldest skincare ingredients there is. Tallow is rich in skin-compatible lipids that closely mirror the oils your skin already makes, so it tends to sink in rather than sit on top. Households across Europe and early America rendered tallow for generations to soften hands and protect weathered skin. What is new is not the ingredient. It is that modern formulation can now pair it with hydrators and lighter oils so it feels finished and wearable.
Will it feel greasy?
No. Each formula is balanced for its job. The Body Butter is built to absorb without heaviness so it works for daily use, and the Sugar Scrub rinses clean. The Heritage Balm is intentionally the richest of the three, because it is meant for targeted spots rather than head-to-toe coverage.
Does every product contain tallow?
Three of the four do. The Tallow Sugar Scrub, Tallow Heritage Balm, and Tallow Body Butter are all built on grass-fed tallow. The Nourishing Body Wash is not. A cleanser's job is to lift buildup and leave skin comfortable, so it is formulated with aloe vera, jojoba oil, and allantoin instead.
What is the difference between the Heritage Balm and the Body Butter?
The Body Butter is the everyday finisher. It is lighter, absorbs quickly, and is meant for all-over use after every shower. The Heritage Balm is thicker and more concentrated, made for the spots that need real protection, like cracked hands, heels, and rough elbows. Butter for the whole body, balm for the trouble areas.
Do I have to use all four?
